Melodifestivalen 2017 kicks off on Saturday with the first semi-final taking place in Gothenburg. You can see all dates and semi-final allocation here:

A total of 28 participants will compete to represent Sweden in Kiyv.
Melodifestivalen 2017 will consist of 6 shows, fours semi-finals, a Second Chance show (March 4) and a Grand Final (March 11) held in Stockholm. Two acts from each semi-final will make it to the final, while the 3rd and 4th placed will compete in the Second Chance (Andra Chansen) from which four contenders will qualify for the Grand Final.
The shows of Melodifestivalen will be hosted by David Lindgren, Hasse Andersson and Clara Henry.
