Norway concludes its search for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest tonight. Public broadcaster NRK will hold their traditional annual song competition Melodi Grand Prix live from Oslo Spektrum, which has served as MGP venue for many years and also had the honor to host Eurovision 1996.
After months of preparations receiving thousands of songs, the TV station got to choose 10 acts internally, take a look at them all below:
You can follow the show live on NRK from 20:55 (CET) onwards either on NRK’s official online streaming or on our multi-window platform. The show will be hosted by Norwegian TV personalities Line Elvsåshagen and Kåre Magnus Bergh.
The winner and Norwegian representative in Kiev will be chosen over two voting rounds of public televoting and as a new feature, an international jury panel. 10 different countries will award from 1-8, 10 and 12 points to their favorite songs. The juries will have a total of 580 points to give out and also 580 points will be awarded by the Norwegian public, thus the 4 songs with the most points will proceed to the Gold-final. 100% regional televoting will then decide the winner.
